I continue to work on several issues surrounding parks and green space and am excited to be participating in the master plan update focused on greenspace - called GREEN GRAND RAPIDS.
City Appointments:
I serve on the Committee on Appeals and Districts, the Legislative Team, Appointments Committee, Economic Development Corporation, and the Special Committee of City and County Commissioners.
Community Participation and Involvement:
I continue to be an active member of the community, serving on a number of boards and committees including: board member of the Dyer-Ives Foundation, board member of the Children's Assessment Center, Board member of the YMCA, Chair of the Advisory Council of LISC, board member of the Grand Rapids Youth Boxing Foundation, member of the Fulton Street Farmers Market Development Committee, member of the Uptown CID, and Co-Chair of the Kent County Domestic Violence Community Coordinated Response Team..
I serve on the following Standing Committees, which meet every other Tuesday, at the following times:
